There's nothing more relaxing on my day off than listening to music and becoming inspired or lost in deep thought; Today was no different. The Dum Dum Girls 2nd album , Only In Dreams, is an amazing indie pop album and conveys so many emotions as well as kick-ass music. I normally have a thing against filtering my pics, seeing as this is a blog and not Instagram, but it went with the whole, low-fi, garage indie pop, no care attitude. In my opinion, this genre of music has a had an impressive impact of current trends vast across the board, not only pertaining to music, but including movies, fashion, photography, and even food. That's a completely different stream of ideas though...

I've been busy with school work and getting adjusted to my classes, so sadly i've been neglecting the blog, for which im not happy with, but school comes first. I have a new song i am just in LOVE with. Its from a band called Best Coast and the song is "Boyfriend". Its very surf rock, beach boys on acid, urban outfitters song of my life type track, and its absolutely addictive! It inspired me for the summer, and im so ready for the warmth of life to come back and the short shorts to break out! You?

So I got a new fav. song! Kanye West's new CD "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Nightmare" dropped yesterday, and i have to say i'm a Kanye fan, but this just took me to a new level for him! The CD is fucking ORGASMIC!!! I love it from beginning to end. Now, i HATE stroking egos and his is the LAST one you want to stroke (it's all ready big as fuck) but he deserve all props for this. Back to the song, "All Of The Lights" is amazing. Lyrical content, beat, and catchy hook are all present making the song an instant hit.

1st thing out of bed. Not too shabby lol

So I woke up at 10:50 feeling a little groggy, but that all changed when I saw an email giving me complements on my blog (yay me!). Jumping out of the bed, well actually rolling out of it I instantly come downstairs to the big family computer A.K.A Big Daddy, and turned on one of my fav. songs in the World: "Get Together" by Madonna. This song is actually my most played song on my itunes (with a total count of 654 times o_0). I'm a Madonna whore, so what?

This is my breakfast. Don't be fooled though, this hippie can EAT!

This is only the beginning of the day. I'm planning to have lunch with my best friend; a post-birthday gathering for two, of sorts. Our fav. spot to eat like savages at is The Flying Biscuit Cafe in Midtown of Atlanta. So believe there will be pictures posted later today of that. Until then, See you on the Other Side.

So I've been putting some touches on my blog and i can't help but notice that "What's My Name" has been on a steady repeat and has YET to stop. I feel a little dumb because i put it on repeat a hour ago, so it slipped my mine. Now, i don't have a problem with the song, because I love Rihanna (Drake...eh) but 15 times, no. So here's to my last time playing this fucking song for a whole week....or 3 days, who's really counting?
