Rihanna For River Island.
Rihanna's collection for River Island debuted on Saturday at London Fashion Week, and it was a huge success. Some piece were bland, but overall the collection had personality and playfulness balanced out by just the right amount of dark and solid bold pieces.
Rihanna for River Island will be available March 5 in select stores and online.
Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring/Summer 2012-2013
The new logo is lovely! Hands down.
Louis Vuitton's spring summer 2012 collection is very playful at the same time put together and serious. I absolutely love it.
The collection is adorned with navy, whites, golds, and the red&blue checkered combo. The shorts, jackets, suits came together with all smooth and rough textured. I loved the neutral colors paired with dark accessories lending a touch of fall to the collections.
The accessories are HUGE! The totes and satchels are enormous and paired with wine and cream colors going for a sophisticated look. On the other side there were tan brown pocketbooks accompanying with detailed belts and silk scarves.
This collection is a nice blend of fun and playful with suave and tailored.
Louis Vuitton Menswear Fall 12/13
The beautiful arrays of fall staples like brown, gray, maroon, navy, black blended well together and were used as splendid transitions between dress up and casual wear of the collection.
The detailing on each garment was spectacular as well. The pockets on the trench coats were to die for as well as the knits.
The accessories stood out as well with the large, plush scarves that seemed to comfortably swallow the models heads. The bags varied from 3d structured like totes and cases to flat satchels. The most stand out where the 1 handle totes which looked like a crossbreed between a briefcase and a overnight bag. Im still on the fence with these as they are very stylish and versatile, but the practicality is a slight issue with me (i like 2 handles). The most exciting feature, to me, were the steel toed & heel shoes.
Point blank beautiful! All in all this collection has won me over with no (big)complaints.
Takes Two To Tango
Tangerine Tango is the "it" color for 2012.
Tangerine bright and fiery disposition is a great contrast to last years subtle honeysuckle. I personally enjoy the decision as i have a couple tangerine pieces and love them. They stand out with any outfit and they can masquerade as statement pieces without much convincing. Tangerine took over for last fall in a couple of collections and stood its ground in being the color of choice in the form of daring cuts, beautifully crafted pieces, and stunning accessories.
Tangerine has also made its mark on cosmetology. There are lipsticks, eyeshadows, liners, etc glazed with this wonderful shade that adds a hint of dare and personality to anyone's palette. All in all, im ready to see where tangerine takes 2012.
Confectionery Execution.
I love to bake, but my skills are hit or miss. At least 65% of the time. I attemtped to recreate this candid dream I had about brownies with strawberries inside...
I took a 5 min session to stop and really think this over and see if I was willing to try even though it was highly possible I would fail. I threw caution to the fucking wind and went for it. And failed, badly.

Push Start.
First off, Happy New Years. Its been a pretty hectic time for me especially last year, but I ended it on a good note and that's all I could ask for,this year I wanna focus more on photography and taking "mockshoots" of friends and what not. I'm really to actually push my blog out there with all the positive feedback i've been receiving and all the attention its getting even when I go weeks without posting! I know that's terrible, but its a sign that i'm onto something good.
For now im just getting everything together and plotting. Wont be long...
Access To The Accessory Spread.
This spread in October's Elle was amazingly decorated with accessories and I fell in love, and the best part, its 4 different covers. I still look at this spread and its been 2 months.
